Level 80 PvP

There are alot of warlocks out there that are concerned with our pvp viability at level 80. I was not in beta but I haven't been convinced that we're trying "broken." I came up with a spec that I think will be very powerful in all brackets, but it's just a theory.

SL/SL/NP

It's basically a combo of sl/sl and destruction. It has the Dot damage of sl/sl with the burst sl/sl always lacked with Shadowburn/Conflag.

Major Glyphs:

Glyph of Corruption
Glyph of Fear(or maybe Agony)
Glyph of Siphon Life

Minor Glyphs:
Glyph of Curse of Exhaustion
Glyph of Drain Soul
Glyph of Unending Breath

Obivously the point of this spec is to outlast. Soul link + Nether protection gives you a ton of mitigation, not to mention the life you'll be recieving from siphon life. I haven't yet decided if it's better to use Demon Armor (20% healing) or Fel Armor (health regan). It will probably depend on if you're getting focused or not.

I'll probably be using more critical strike/haste gear than pure damage gear. With the addition of demonioc circle we should be able to kite our opponents much better. I took the increased range talents in both trees anticpating I will be kiting alot with Aftermath + CoXe + Fear. The goal with this spec is to wittle your opponent down with Dots/Drains and fears then unload on him with conflag/shadowburn and any nightfall/backlash procs.

The only downside of this spec is that you won't have any of those cool 51 point talents (though all of them are kinda meh). But since you are strong in both dots and direct damage your playstyle will change depending on the situation. Melee will still be the strongest counter to us but you will be a huge counter to any caster with Nether Protection. The strengths of this spec are you aren't as focused in one school or the other. So getting locked out of Shadow doesn't gimp you because you can still unload with fire spells (and vice versa). You should be able to kite like crazy with all the slows this spec has. You can Dot or Direct Damage your opponent depending on the situation. If you have to you can "tank" the assist train because of the changes to Demon Armor and having Siphon Life. Also since you are so dependent on your pet the 17 points in Demonology allow for quicker casting if your pet gets killed.
